Yes. When i bought the game, i made sure to just download the zombies content and it worked. What will happen is youll be able to see the campaign and multiplayer buttons on the menu(as well as zombies and others), but multiplayer and campaign are blanked out since you dont have it downloaded. It runs completely fine and saves you on the gigs!
When a friend and I tried to play exo zombies online with a 3rd online friend it wouldnt let him play without plus (which I have). Only able to play offline (local play) when split screening. Make sure your account with plus has the system activated as primary in; Settings / Account Management / Activate as Your Primary PS4.

I'm considering buying Black Ops 3 on PC so I can play custom zombies, but because I already have Black Ops 3 and all of the DLC on Xbox One, I'm getting the PC version solely for custom zombies, but I'm not sure if I want to have 100GB of storage taken up for the entire game.

Deluxe gives ALL there is, Chronicles gives you the throwback 5-6 maps only. Pretty sure Deluxe DOES NOT give you all zombies maps.
