Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007) 1.2 htp (64bhp) rough idle. Hi all We are looking at purchasing a 2005 Fabia Mk1 1.2htp Sport. Having tested the car, it seems to run very smoothly whilst driving, although the gearbox was abit notchy. The thing I'm not sure/concerned about is that the engine idles abit unevenly, to the point where the car wobbles abit.The Skoda site still lists Fabia, so am guessing the car will still be sold out of the 13 cities identified for BSIV. although dealer did not inform me about this, my internet research gave me a slight idea of an engine upgrade for fabia sometime midyear with the facelift, it surely didn't bother me because i liked the car as it was and this is
